Master Zhu Tianxi began to learn Shao Lin Quan Kung fu from several accomplished masters
since a young age. In the 1960s when he was fifteen, Zhu followed Grand Master Shi Degen,
a grand Kung fu master in the Shao Lin Temple, to study Shao Lin Kung fu comprehensively
and systematically. After more than forty years of persistent training, Zhu Tianxi has become
the only person in modern society that masters all the profound and extensive contents of
Shao Lin Kung fu.

Master Liu Jishun started learning Hao Weizhen Tai Ji Quanfrom Master Hao Shaoru since 1960s.

Master Sam Choi studied Pak Mei Kung fu founder the famous Pak Mei practitioner Cheung
BingFat, 3rd son of Grand Master Cheung Lai Chuen. He has diligently practiced for over 40
years. He started spreading Pak Mei martial arts in Hong Kong in the 1970s. In the early 1990s,
he opened Shing Tak Tongin Toronto Canada to promote Chinese traditional Kung fu and
culture.
It was done to allow different people from different cultures and backgrounds to experience
and understand Chinese traditional culture. This book explains Pak Mei Kung fu theories and
Master Sam Choi’s understanding of the commonalities of Kung fu. It also explains the much
revered Pak Mei form Kau Bo Tui, its moves and its usage.

The Third Chinese Tai Ji Quan Masters’ Seminar & the First International Tai Ji Masters’ Forum,
masterminded & undertaken by Chinese Traditional Kung fu & International Chinese Traditional
Kung fu Federation, was held in Ma’anshan City, Anhui Province, China in May 2006. Around
seventy Tai Ji Quan masters & delegates representing various Tai Ji schools had
exchanged their ideas together and given demonstrations. At last, Ma’anshan Declaration was
passed which clearly expatiated the status quo of the Tai Ji Quan community.
